Job Positions Available:

Electrical Designer

The job candidate shall have a minimum of two (2) years of experience directly involved with Electrical Design and Drafting. Each candidate shall be fluent in the operation and use of AutoCAD 2006, Microsoft Word 2003, Microsoft Excel 2003, Microsoft Outlook and Windows XP Pro. AutoCAD experience must include the use of model space, paper space and xreferences.

The success job candidate shall be proficient with the design and CAD drafting of Electrical Systems, including, but not limited to the following:

Electrical Lighting: Selection and specification of light fixtures, lighting control systems, wiring, switching, etc., as well as completing lighting foot candle calculations, circuiting, plan layouts, exit lighting, emergency lighting, battery backup and generator power, etc.

Electrical Power: Selection and specification of electrical panels, circuit breakers, disconnects, contactors, wiring, etc., as well as completing plan layouts, short circuit calculations, panel schedules, power distribution, circuiting, single line diagrams, electrical site plans, transformer sizing, wire & conduit sizing, electrical company coordination, generator selection, etc.

Fire Alarm System: Selection and specification of fire alarm control panels including annunciator panels, wiring, horn/strobes, alarms, tamper & flow switch monitoring, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, etc.)

Public Address, Sound and Intercom

Master Clock System

Surge Suppression

Lightning Protection

The job candidate will be expected to design and layout the required Electrical Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, Sound/Intercom, etc. systems for various building projects and be fully capable of using AutoCAD to input the information onto the final drawings.
